So Jojo and I did our 2nd annual anniversary fishing trip this morning. It is sooo cool to have a woman that wants to go fishing for an anniversary gift. I'm a lucky man. The fishing was on the slow side but we got a few good ones. Then we stopped by the Bali Hai for a great lunch. Love you Jojo. Happy anniversary baby. SD Anglers club Tournament

By | 2017-07-24T15:11:29+00:00 July 23rd, 2017|News & Announcements|0 Comments

What an awesome last 2 days of fishing. The Big bass are biting!!! Friday took my brother Chris Gierlich my son in law Ethan and my pops Bubba. Out on our annual fishing trip. We targeted deep structure bass and they were biting. Pretty much a bass on every drop all day long for each of us with average size being 3 to 5 lbs. I kept track and weighed our bigger ones to see what our 5 fish limit would be and we were over 30 lbs with my Bros pb 8.80 lb sand bass as the kicker fish. Saturday my girl Jojo, Frank Santiago, Ben Tello and I fished the 3 B's tournament put on by SD Anglers club. We couldn't find the Bonita, I got 1 barely short Cuda but we had no problems with the bass. We fished Coronado islands for lots of bass, 5 small yellowtail 1 decent one taken by a seal at the boat and Frank got his pb halibut. So here's how we finished for the tournament. 1st-1 guy got a bass and Bonita so he got first. Congrats Adam 2nd- Ben Tello with a 6.4 sand bass 3rd- Chad Chad Gierlich with a 6.3 calico 4th- Frank Santiago with a 4 something calico 5th- Jojo with a 4 something calico. Frank also got JP with his 20.8 halibut. Congrats team!!!. As always the only thing that gets fished on my boat is Hookup Baits. The big games were mostly used in [...]
