Hookup Baits Takes FIRST PLACE at SBS Inshore Tournament

Before the big tournament, I did a morning prefish session with my girl Jojo Friday. We got some nice bass so going into Saturdays SBS inshore tournament in San Diego I was pretty confident we would be able to put up a good limit of bass. My teammate Al and I stuck to my game plan and it worked perfectly taking first place. We fished structure 70 to 90 feet deep and used the big game Hookup Baits jigs. Fishing was a little slower than normal because of all the red crab. Every bass was stuffed with them but they still ate the Hookup Baits. We caught around 40 bass with the average being 3 to 4 lbers. We know this because we weighed around 20 of them putting our limit together. Great job putting the tournament together as always by the SBS crew. Can't wait for the next one April 8th in Long Beach. If your even thinking about tournament fishing give this series a try. I'm glad I did. #hookupbaits #dontblinkonthesink #nolivebaitneeded #ownerhooks #freedomboatclub #saltwaterbassseries This post originally appeared on Facebook - go there if you'd like to share :)
